It is World Nutella Day! On this annual holiday millions of Nutella fans across the world celebrate their love for the famous chocolate-hazelnut spread. So spread a thick layer of Nutella on a slice of bread or grab a spoon and eat Nutella straight out of the jar. Either way, today you don’t have to feel quilty about eating too much Nutella. Yes, we need to consume vitamin C everyday since the vitamin can not be stored. If you’re having trouble eating your daily dose of vitamin C, try drinking it. Brrr, you can definitely tell that it is officially fall season now. I don’t know about you guys but I rather stay home cuddling under the blankets than go out. Movie nights are my favorite during fall -and winter season. However, those movie nights often lead to a lot more snacking than usual. Snacking is fine but not if you end up eating a whole bag of chips by yourself. So I’ve been doing a lot of research on which snacks are healthy but still tasty enough to eat during a movie. As a result of this I went to our local market, bought some veggies and made my own vegetable chips. Vegetable chips are a healthy alternative for the traditional chips. No, not the ones you can buy in the supermarket that are just loaded with salt. I’m talking about homemade vegetable chips.

Overnight Oatmeal Recipe


Goodmorning everyone! Never have the time to eat a proper breakfast in the morning? With a little preparation this won’t longer be a problem for you. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After sleeping for eight hours, our body needs an energy boost to start the new day. Also, breakfast activates your body’s fat burning mode. If you’re struggling to lose weight, try having a nutritious breakfast from now on.

My mornings are also very hectic so I usually have my breakfast at my desk. Not the most ideal option, but better to have a deskfast than no breakfast at all, right? On weekdays I often have oats for breakfast. Oats are very healthy, rich in fibers and minerals which keep you satisfied for at least a few hours. You can eat this inexpensive superfood raw or cooked. I prefer to eat them raw because it takes less time to prepare. Overnight oatmeal is my absolute favorite oatmeal recipe! It’s super easy to prepare and it doesn’t require much cleaning up afterwards.  So you can just get it out of the fridge in the morning before you rush to work. Eating oats regularly also has tons of health benefits.

Happy Valentine’s Day my darlings! What are your plans for tonight? Chances are big that you have planned an exciting evening with your love or maybe it’s just a normal Tuesday for you and you don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day at all. This year we’re also not doing anything special for Valentine’s Day. But I did receive a beautiful red rose with a big heart from my boyfriend. That really made my day. I think it’s adorable how he’s so thoughtful and always makes such an effort to make me feel special.

The plan is to watch a romantic comedy together and have some of these delicious truffles. If you’re still looking for a sweet treat for tonight, you should really try these Red Velvet Cake Truffles. Oh my god, these truffles are to die for. So sweet, so chewy and sooo yummy! I’m actually really proud of myself that I came up with this recipe since I don’t consider baking as one of my strongest points. But these turned out so well, I just had to share it with you all.
