Nothing brings foodies together like good food. That absolutely showed at the Foodies Breakfast that I took part in yesterday. <img src="How to make 2018 your year.jpeg" alt="How to make 2018 your year by Sherana Kishun" title="How to make 2018 your year by Sherana Kishun'' />
Hi girls, how is 2018 going so far? For me it started off pretty good. But looking back at 2017, that wasn’t exactly my year. Still a lot of good things did happen though. I had an amazing first backpacking experience, I’ve signed up for several courses and I’ve been working on some exciting new goals. But most important of all, 2017 was a year in which I learned a lot about myself. I learned about who I am, what I like and where I want to be in life. This may sound very deep but self reflection is way too underrated if you’d ask me. Regular self reflection resulted in a few valuable life lessons that I really want to share with you. I’m fully confident that if we keep these life lessons in mind, we can make 2018 the best year yet!

Review | The Happiness Planner – The Peony Planner

<img src="Peony Planner.jpeg" alt="The Peony Planner from The Happiness Planner">
An organised life is a happy life. Well at least for me then. That’s why I’m starting 2018 fresh with my new Peony Planner from The Happiness Planner. It was the one thing I had on Christmas wishlist this year and I’m sooo happy with it! Ever since I was in high school I loved personalising my school planners. Every school year I would decorate my planner with pictures, stickers, quotes etc.

You probably be thinking, “but who still uses a planner these days?” Aren’t there all kinds of apps for that?! I know I’m old school. I still prefer to write things down, make lists for everything and carry a planner around with me. But this planner is more than just a planner. Instead of focusing on productivity, it focuses on living a happier life. It is designed to help you become a more positive person by embracing positivity and giving you your daily dose of mindfulness. Also the planner guides you to help accomplish your goals so that you can become the best version of yourself.

Cheesecakes are known for being very rich so I added raspberries on top of this cheesecake to break the richness of this dessert a little bit. Therefore this white chocolate cheesecake has the perfect balance of sweet, sour ánd creaminess. Since it’s a no bake recipe you don’t even have to pop this cheesecake in the oven. A couple of hours in the fridge so the cheesecake can set is all that is left to do after prepping this easy No-Bake White Chocolate Cheesecake.
